Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Organise and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Manage, coach and develop team members
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
  • Handle customer queries or issues
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
  • Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
  • Be accountable for all aspects of stock ordering procedures, ensuring you hit production and wastage targets
  • Assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
  • Maintain consistently high standards and drive food quality
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation, promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all
  • Direct the team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines


Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as hospitality manager or leader
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are vital
  • Hands-on experience in customer service or sales
  • Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in hospitality management would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Full driving license and own transport is desirable
