The Old Prison Kitchen & Café, the Relish venue that’s steeped in history, is to give the residents of Northleach an early Christmas present in the form of a ‘Keep it Local’ discount card. It even extends to those in surrounding parishes across Notgrove, Turkdean, Cold Aston, Compton Abdale, Farmington, Hampnett and Haselton.
10% discount on all food and non-alcoholic drinks orders!
The card is the idea of the management team who wanted to give something back to the community after enjoying two years at the historic site. The Old Prison is a part of Cotswold history and working with the owners, Friends of the Cotswolds, has been a real pleasure; bringing this venue back to life and building on its story and heritage.
We hope our food and drink adds to the customer experience and as we work with some fabulous local suppliers whose incredible seasonal produce, we hope to do the venue justice, no pun intended!
We work closely with Bramleys for great local veggies, Jesse Smith’s butchers in Cirencester, Sherston free-range eggs and local Cotswold Honey, amongst others.
To qualify for the discount card, residents of the eight parishes are invited to pop into The Old Prison with proof of name and address (such as driving licence or utility bill) and a card will be validated and issued accordingly. The great news is that a group of friends or family can all benefit from the discount, so long as the person who is paying the bill owns a ‘Keep it Loyal’ card.
And don’t forget, once you’ve enjoyed your brunch or coffee & cake, why not visit the Prison Cells or Court Room and experience the new digital and printed information boards newly installed by the Friends of the Cotswolds.
The investment into the venue is incredibly exciting, and it’s an incredible space that can be used for private parties, including weddings. It’s also ideal for coach tours and large groups. The cells and courtroom remain open so locals and visitors can take a look at the buildings past.
So when are you planning on visiting?!
