Still Cooking up a Storm for Gloucestershire!

Ahead of the full opening up of their venues across the region, we’re in collaboration with Open Kitchens, have just prepped, cooked and dispatched the first 500 meals in their initiative to help the vulnerable.

Open Kitchens a national food solution that brings together restaurants & their communities to fund, produce & deliver free meals to those in need and just last month we pledged to raise over £11,000 to provide 6,000 meals and we’ve already hit the £2.5k mark! We’ve received an incredible response from local customers, businesses and staff, as well as anonymous donations from the general public. However, we’ve still got further 4,650 meals to raise money for and they urgently need our help and support!

Just £1.85 feeds someone in a vulnerable position so every donation no matter how big or small makes a difference. That’s quite a big impact we can make between us. We are calling upon everyone in our community to dig deep and support this amazing initiative. Donating is simple – we have a Just Giving page and updates on how we are getting on can be found on our Facebook and Instagram posts.

Meanwhile, we’ve created an alternative way to support this initiative by inviting customers who visit any of our locations* to donate for the price of a cuppa. For just £3, any coffee can be pre-ordered for redemption at a later date and 100% of the funds will go directly to the Open Kitchen project. It really couldn’t be easier!
